Cameroon women national team defeated Nigeria in the semi-final of the 2015 All African Games women's football event played at the Stade Municipal de Kintélé, Brazzaville in Congo on Tuesday.
Goals from Therese Abane and Madeleine Ngo Mani were all coach Enoh Ngachu's side required to condemn the reigning African champions to their second defeat despite a second half equalizer.
Abane fired Cameroon ahead in the 10th minute before Mani made it 2-0 in the 14th minute to ensure the Lionesses accrued a 2-0 lead before the first half break.
In the second half, Super Falcons' defender Onome Ebi pulled one back in the 48th minute but her effort could not save coach Christopher Danjuma's ladies from another defeat.
For Nigeria, the defeat is the third in recent months under Danjuma after the Falcons crashed out of the 2016 Rio Olympics in a 2-1 defeat to Equatorial Guinea.
In the other semi-final, Ghana squeezed past Cote d'Ivoire by a lone goal to secure a place in the final.
Nigeria will face Cote d'Ivoire in the third place match for bronze while Cameroon will take on Ghana in the final of the 11th edition of the All-Africa Games.
